Omega men are born not created.
They are spit out of their mother’s womb
Exemplifying Manhood, Scholarship, Perserverance, and Uplit.
Though your intention may be sincere,
Your desire strong and pure,
Take heed …
Our beloved fraternity was not created in a day,
Nor was it created by the week, meek, or insecure.
Omega Psi Phi was created by strong men.
Men sound mentally and physically.
Omega does not succeed through a notion, a hope, or a dream,
But through men of sound mind, willing spirit, and determination.
The road is not laden in gold and silver,
Nor is the load a light one.
Like Jesus carried the cross with pride
Through adversity and ridicule.
So must we as Omega men carry the burden of our people.
Search… Search long and hard.
Search within yourself.
Within your heart and your mind.
Do you have the determination, the qualities,
The basic pride in yourself?
Are you a man?
