Brother Jamal Bailey is a corporate associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, LLP., a wall street law firm where he works on mergers & acquisitions, private financing, and corporate governance matters. Jamal recently graduated from the University of District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law with magna cum laude honors in May 2022. There, he served as Student Bar Association President and Managing Editor of the UDC Law Review. Jamal is active in his communities, D.C. and Harlem, NY, serving as a mentor, Friend of the New York Public Library, un-housed persons advocate, and diversity, equity, and inclusion champion in professional spaces. Before practicing law, Jamal worked in the business field doing management consulting at Deloitte Consulting, LLP. and asset management at Morgan Stanley-Smith Barney. Jamal graduated from Hampton University School of Business’s five-year MBA program in 2016. He is a 2012 initiate of the Gamma Epsilon chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., a former chapter Basileus, and he’ll be serving as co-chair of the GEAA Mentorship Committee 2023-2024.
